i have guild wars and nightfall but i do not have factions is there any way i can get to nightfall and how

Yep... there should be a mission in Lion's Arch that will take your character to the Nightfall Campaign.

You don't have to have any one game to get any of the others.

Go ahead and get Nightfall you don't need Factions.

In fact that is the way I did it. I started in Prophecies, went to Nightfall, and now I have GW:EN! And I still don't have Factions.

If you mean transporting a character from Prophecies to Nightfall, there is a quest in Lion's Arch from a gentlemen on the eastern docks I believe. The quest is tough though, it will either take a high level on your part, or some high level friends with Prophecies and Nightfall to get you through it.

You don't need to have every guild wars games to play them, all you need is one game, they are stand-alone games, but with the cd-key code you can add other games so you can do things in other games. It also gives you more room for characters. Best of luck.
