It's actually a kind of fabric (that's why you can literally launder it). For the record, counterfeiting is quite illegal, and you will be caught. Anyway, the only way you can get your hands on that kind of paper is as money, so it wouldn't really be worth the trouble.

Paper Currency in the USofA is made from a linen, rag, and paper mix that is classified. SALE of that specific paper is limited to the BUREAU of ENGRAVING, and possession of that paper by a private person is a felony

the "paper" that they make money out of isnt actually paper at all; its more of a fiber linen. i dont think u can unless u try making it urself, but call around like to joann fabrics and other arts and crafts stores like that

but nooo money isnt made out of "real" paper

its mainly a cotton, linen and nylon compound that resembles paper ^_^

You can not. It is not really paper, for one, and the latest addition is trace isotopes for authentification. Good luck finding the even the materials to attempt it!!

i think its a comibination of different types of paper. the combination is secret and unique to each currency.
