I was watching an interview with John Edward, the guy who claims that dead people talk to him, and he says everyone has the ability to communicate with dead people. So, I'm wondering if anyone has heard or thought they may have heard from a dead person.

I do think that people like John Edwards thoughI think there are different ways that the dead can communicate to you. Either through dreams or real life visions. Also though I think you have to be careful if you believe in God and Satan sometimes these are actually Satan's ways of getting in. Yeah I know crazy sounding. Its all about the amount of peace you have when this happens. God would never have you have a since of fear when something like this happens. I think it is either yes this happens otherwise our subconscious is just that strong. I have to say though I have seen my uncle after his passing he didn't;t talk but just stood there like he had something to say and then he was gone. I do think though that people like John Edwards takes advantage of people grieving. I think he has his crap planned out and rigged.

I'm pretty sure they haven't. I know this because they're dead.

John Edward can't talk to the dead; nobody can. He has a TV show. He keeps microphones in the audience and listens to what people are talking about before the show, then he uses that to pretend he's psychic so that he can make money. Good luck!

I think so. Before I got married, my dead fiance asked me if I was happy with this new woman. She said something else, sounded like a warning but I don't know what it was. Turns out, I was divorced less than six months later.

My mother and sister died within a six week period back in Nov-Dec 2001, and one of my bestest friends died shortly after in April 2002. I was so depressed that I used to visit them doped up on psychiatric medication and boozed up with alcohol. One day I was weeping at my mother's grave (all this happened when I was a 18 year old senior in high school making straight A's then my grades detoriated immensely) and I thought I saw a ghost of my late mother telling me that I broke a promise to her by losing my valedictorian title and being stripped of all my senior awards because of my addiction to alcoholism, hard liquor, marijuana, and prescription psychiatric and painkillers. I had to be in some type of nightmare. My sister, whom was cremated because of her dumb husband, came to me at the same time telling me to go back to Christianity and pursue my dream of being a pediatrician. And my best friend came out telling me that I disappointed her and that I'm selfish for feeling sorry for myself...God is taking care of them. I ran out of the cerementary and ran five miles to my dad's house. Locked myself in my room and swore I'll be committed to an insane asulymn. I think it was the drugs and Jack Daniels that did it. Who knows?

Yes, I have. But its not something I can "conjure" up. I've had visits from my Grandma and best friend-- its been a real source of comfort to me...

I have seen ghosts but they did not talk. Sometimes my mom heard them call her name. But it is unusual. It is not like they hang out and chat with you. It is very creepy too.

My Dad spoke to me in a dream. Does that count? He told me he was still here with us, watching over us.
