I'm making reference to the party in power now which I still believe is the Republicans. What if you lose? I don't mean in Iraq because I don't think that is a win/lose situation. I mean solely in reference to socio-economics.

They believe for every issue they have God on their side, and that only they know what is moral. They also are uneducated enough to not understand what communism is. Lastly, they also believe they are the only ones who love the country and our military. They are NOT right. They are the wrong right. Quite the insightful oxymoron.

I think it is a no-win situation for the common American. Both political parties are becoming increasingly detached from their constituents, and more worried about special interests and so-called hot button issues. I'm afraid it will be like this until somehow somebody figures out how to get big money out of politics.

In a socio-economic sense, a country that is losing experience capital and job flight, inflation, weakening currency, loss of international status and influence, malaise, declining patriotism, and increasing in-fighting.
America has clearly been 'losing' since the 70s.

No. Just because somebody is richer doesn't mean that person worked harder then somebody who is poor.
I think children working in sweat shop conditions for slave wages in third world countries work harder then Bush ever did.
Not everybody starts on the same starting line.
