What part of the first amendment do you not understand? The government has no business using the word God. When the government does it establishes that religions that have a god are better than those that don't.

You are free to practice your religion all you want. You just can not preach it to school children. It really is that simple.

If you want to submerge your children in religious teachings at school, have at it, at a school that is not run by the government.

Boo freakin' hoo...

So what?

Even if we are prohibited in our religious freedoms in some ways, does that mean somehow we *can't* continue following Christ? Have we as Christians truly become that wimpy that we can't stand up to a little adversity and still lift up the name of our Lord and Savior?

Even if everything is turned against us, we are still to follow our Savior and lift up and glorify His name.

"Peter and the other apostles replied: 'We must obey God rather than men!'" (Acts 5:29)

If Peter or Paul the Apostles saw us in America today, they would shake their heads at us because we're a bunch of wimpy believers who can't stand a little heat.

Babe makes a very good point. Yes, hey school, go rot in hell. Who needs stupid schools anyway? Always trying to make us learn things. But since we'll probably keep schools around, if we are going to advertise for Christianity, shouldn't other religions be included too? I don't think pro-Muslim posters would fly for many public schools in America.

I think we should cut off all government funds to the school. Let them rot in hell.
