I've been on birth control for about 3 months now (Femcon Fe). I have ALWAYS gotten my period smack middle of a week during the active pills, and NEVER during the week of the sugar pills. I have had my period now for about a week, and it dosen't look like it's stopping. My doctor said to start taking 2 pills a day (one at reg. time and one before bed.) Is this ok?!

no! i think you should get a second opinion, it isnt right to take 2 per day. if they're not working for you properly your doctor should prescribe a different pill. there are so may types, its just a matter of finding the one thats right for you and your body.

If I were you talk your doctor. Why you hadn't got a period. You might change the birth control. If this helpful when doctor will give you difference once.

I would get a second opinion. Did he explain why he wanted you to take two per day?
