Yes, but if you ever decide you don't want it you will have a difficult time plugging the hole and making it look very good.
You might want to consider one of the room air conditioners that has a relatively small hose going out the window.
We use one in our loft and it works great.
Good luck
PS: I assume you are talking about an exterior wall and not an interior wall.

Yes, very easily...I'm assuming you are installing it on an exterior wall (facing the outside)...taking measurements on the width and height of the A/C and framing out the hole where it will be placed...you can get a sleeve to make it a bit easier but it's not necessary..The important thing is when placing it into the hole, make sure it's tilted toward the outside (the lower part)...Using a level is the easiest way and the tilt only has to be very slight, enough that the unit drips outside (not inside)...after it's totally installed, finish it up with caulking and molding on the inside...

Yes it can be done. You just frame it in as if you were installing a window, with a header and 2X4's. Locate your opening near enough to an electrical outlet inside that the cord will reach without extension, being careful to check for wiring running down through the wall. Add support outside and make sure it's level. Fill in gaps around it with silicone caulk. Keep in mind where it will drip when it's running.

Yes, but you need an enclosure or sleeve
made for the purpose.
The unit manufacturer probably makes one for
your unit.
These do have to be properly installed and
weatherproofed. Be sure you're up to it.
If you're not on the ground floor, better not try.

Yes, and install with a sleeve.
If it dies or has to be replaced, good luck getting the same size.
I would not recommend it.
