I have to write an essay that is similar to Jonathan Swift's "a modest proposal". In Swift's version, he proposes that in order to solve the poverty and food shortage in Ireland, most of the babies of poor people should be eaten. He makes a formal argument in the rhetorical style. It is highly satirical, and he does not belive what he writes.
I want to do the same thing with Global warming. (I Do not believe my following proposal, it is for a paper) My "modestly inconvenient proposal" is this: (in a nutshell) slaughter everyone in Africa, Asia, South America, and the middle east. Level their cities. Plant trees where human civilization once stood. I don't believe in this AT ALL, it is just for a paper. Anyway, I was wondering if someone could get me a rough estimate of
a) how much the temperature of the earth would decrease if the above act was carries out and
b) by how much the oxygen concentration on the world would increase.

This is going to take a LOT of work. These questions are essentially impossible. But if you can do it, here's hwo:
First, see if you can find the carbon emmissions by all those countries. That'll help you with a. And the temperature wouldn't decrease, it would increase at a slower level.
For b, find out how much oxygen one person consumes. Then find the polulation of those contries, and what percent of the world polulation that is. Use that to find how much oxygen is consumed by those people, and then what percent of the oxygen consumed by the entire world populations.
But if I were you, I'd find different questiosn.

-Global warming refers to the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans in recent decades and its projected continuation.

-Main articles: Attribution of recent climate change and scientific opinion on climate change
The Earth's climate changes in response to external forcing, including variations in its orbit around the sun (orbital forcing),[7][8][9] volcanic eruptions, and atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations. The detailed causes of the recent warming remain an active field of research, but the scientific consensus[10] identifies elevated levels of greenhouse gases due to human activity as the main influence. This attribution is clearest for the most recent 50 years, for which the most detailed data are available. In contrast to the scientific consensus that recent warming is mainly attributable to elevated levels of greenhouse gases, other hypotheses have been suggested to explain the observed increase in mean global temperature. One such hypothesis proposes that warming may be the result of variations in solar activity.[11][12][13][14]

None of the effects of forcing are instantaneous. The thermal inertia of the Earth's oceans and slow responses of other indirect effects mean that the Earth's current climate is not in equilibrium with the forcing imposed. Climate commitment studies indicate that even if greenhouse gases were stabilized at 2000 levels, a further warming of about 0.5 °C (0.9 °F) would still occur.[15]

-Remaining scientific uncertainties include the amount of warming expected in the future, and how warming and related changes will vary from region to region around the globe. There is ongoing political and public debate worldwide regarding what, if any, action should be taken to reduce or reverse future warming or to adapt to its expected consequences. Most national governments have signed and ratified the Kyoto Protocol, aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

If you attend a public school you better be careful.
Calling for the slaughter of non white people may get you branded as a racist maybe even a terrorist and expelled from
school. If a kid can be expelled for drawing a picture of a gun who knows what some liberal teacher can drudge up with your report.
