Horrible things happen all the time. If you look on the web you can easily find pictures of starving children or people dying from diseases. If you let yourself get overwhelmed by your feelings, you will not be able to do anything to stop horrible things from happening.

I remember this insanity quite well even though it was 38 years ago. It was caused by a strange and volatile mix of drugs, cult behavior, and a maniacal leader. You may not be able to forget these images but I hope that your mental peace returns soon. There can be no good that comes from replaying these images in your head. I wish you peace.

Did you know it was not supposed to be Sharon Tate? It was supposed to be Candice Bergen and her director/producer husband, who denied Manson a job acting in one of his movies. They were just letting Tate use the house.

It just shows how one deranged person (Charles Manson) can command other people to do his bidding. They described him as a modern day Hitler without the army.

Jim Jones was another example.

It was a terrible senseless tragedy. Manson actually never killed anyone himself but had such control over his followers that they would do anything for him. It was insanity in its purest form. They actually took her baby from her body. You can look him up on wikipedia. He is really a frightening looking man even today.

It was a horrible crime.
Hard to believe someone as deranged and Manson could have a bunch of devoted followers...but then again, so did Hitler.
