You need to stick with high calcium to phosphorus ratio foods. You can search lists on the internet or ask your vet. If you don't you can get into trouble with metabloic bone disease. Spinach, collard greens and kale are some good options. Another good option that does take more work is making iguana salad. It is a combination of many things, you can search it on the internet. You can make a batch and bag it in baggies and freeze it. Stay away from romaine or green lettuce, bananas, strawberries, canned green beans and anything outside of fruits or vegetables. Let me know if you have any other questions I have had my iguana AJ for five years.

He needs a fresh salad daily, but go easy on the fruits--they should only be 10% of the diet. Use a good staple green like Collards, Turnip, or Mustard greens. Add alfalfa pellets (like for rabbits), fresh green beans, orange squash, and a bit of fruit. Vary the ingredients frequently. Go to this website for the famous Green Iguana salad, recommended by most veterinarians. Don't forget vitamins/mineral supplements!
