I already answered this question but I want to know it's right if not then can you please correct me?

1) the beginning of the novel is very similar to the first few paragraphs of this chapter. How?

answer: The first few paragraphs of this chapter are very similar to the beginning of the novel is because that's the place were George and Lennie were in the beginning of the novel. Lennie comes back here because this is were his campsite is. He follows exactly what George told him to do if he were to get in trouble.

2) What is the difference?

The difference between the setting of chapter six and the setting of the beginning of the novel is that chapter six took place late afternoon while in the beginning of the novel it took place at sunlight. Chapter six shows a sign of foreshadowing when the beck ate the little snake a possible sign of death which might relate to what is going to happen when George finds him.
