I don't somehow think that Arnie is telling the truth here.

I'll have to have a word with Kochanski about him.

Yes, this is just discusting, though I very much doubt that there will be any damages paid as the act was not consentual. Essentially, the guy can blame anyone in the world, if he likes, but ultimately, the responsibility lies with him.

This is somewhat similar to the case where a burgular broke into someones house and broke their arm or leg (don't remember) and sucsessfully sued the house owner for personal injury... that was disgusting.

Very wrong.. What the hell.... wait though, you say he's suing.. does that mean he's been successful or not? cos that's a whole different story... it would be utterly ridiculous if it was a successful case cos it's his own fault..

You can actually sue a person if you have sex with them, with the person knowingly infected and not letting the person know cos it's a form of errr gbh or something or other, compeltely forgotten the term..

but it's outrageous as hell.. it's kinda like the case where a burglar sued a home owner because he hurt himself in the house...

News seems a particularly cruel joke that the constitution could even consider equal rights in this vastly difference disturbingly form of abuse...jeez the rapist should have considered the possibilities of sexually transmitted diseases when he forced raped the victim without using protection! He is a disgusting parasite and a menace to society...as some would say 'His got some helluva nerve!' May His soon- to be future atmosphere, stink with the awful stench of his decaying flesh of his penis. .......

The constitution ought to be amended to allow cruel and unusual punishment for cruel and unusual crimes. He should not be able to sue her, and instead be put in jail and eventually die from the HIV that HE got from his OWN decisions. If he wanted to mess up his life with that decision, he should have nothing against another bad result from a stupid and careless mistake.

If this is in England - and knowing the sort of things that happen here, he'll probably win the case and get loads of cash, regardless of anything else. That's how burglars work if they're caught robbing and get battered for so doing - they have the nerve to sue for damages too, don't they ! ! !

there was a man who robbed a bank and took a security case that was designed to explode ink if it was tempered with. The burglar's leg got burnt because he put it in his pants pocket and successfully sued the bank, security case manufacturer, designer & distrubitor, hospital and doctor...
it's very sad but i wouldn't be horribly surprised if the rapist won.
people need to open their eyes...

Way to go Arnie, moral majority suitably enraged?

What was your actual question? do we think its right? well what do you think buddie, dont want to pre-empt your little poll there but were you actually expecting some deviation from what you got?

Purposeless incitement to outrage, gets my goat every time. GRRRRR!!
