i have a 6 month old daughter and she has been BEYOND cranky 2day. she woke up this morning at about 7:30 (lil earlier then usual) and ate then went back to bed at 8:30. she woke up again at about 11. i played with her and fed her at about 1. she ate a lil bit of carrots and then started screaming her head off!! i know she was still hungry but she would not calm down so i whiped her off and put some apple cereal in a bottle so she would get full and i gave her some water after that. she went back to sleep at around 2. she woke up at about 3:30 and went right back to being cranky but not as bad. i put her in her playpen with all her toys and she played for about 10-15 minutes. she started crying her head off again so i layed her down (she was sitting up playing) she was okay for about 2 minutes n started screaming again. so i put her in her walker while i made her a bottle (my husband works so i dont have n e one to help durring the day) and i fed her the bottle. she screamed again!!!

So I burped her (she let out a huge burp) and then I tried giving her the rest of her bottle. She drank a lil more but then kept screaming. So I sat her up n cuddled her a lil bit. She was still screaming. I gave her some water to see if she was thirsty. She drank a lil bit but then kept screaming!! When she screams she has tears running down her face and she bends her back almost as if she was trying to do a back bend. She is not running a fever. I want more advice the just “take her to the doctors” I kno the obvious. She will be seing a doctor but until then I am just looking for advice. It was about 4-4:30 when I made her last bottle and after drinking it and some water she screamed some more n then went back to sleep at about 5. it is now about 5:30. has n e one else experienced this? What could be wrong with her? She was a lil cranky yesterday but not like this. She is usually very good and happy. What could be wrong with her?

Maybe she is teething. When my kids were young and teething, (for a quick fix) I would chill a damp washcloth by putting it in the freezer for awhile. Then I would let them chew on it. It relieved the pain. And it wasn't expensive like Baby Anbesol and stuff like that. There are lots of teething tricks out there.
She could have an ear infection also which could explain why she cries sucking the bottle. The sucking can be painful in the ear. Only a Dr can handle an ear infection.
I raised four babies. I know how frustrating it can be to have a baby cry and not know what to do to help. It's all trial and error. Just remember, you will both be fine. :)

some toddlers can get truly cranky whilst they're teething. from time to time they bypass by acute teething tiers and the tooth does not look for a whilst however the soreness from teething can come and bypass. i could think of if it grew to become into from teething inspite of the indisputable fact that, that the tylenol could make some distinction and in case you tried that and located no impression, i could say this is probable no longer from soreness. improve spurts do no longer make a sprint one cranky different than they could very lots carry approximately them wanting to consume greater and sleep greater, and in case you're no longer accomodating for that it may desire to truthfully carry approximately him being cranky. Ohterwise, i could take him to the rfile and get an ear an infection governed out. If no longer that, then he will truthfully recover from it till now you paintings out what's inflicting it -- and he would be a happy infant as quickly as lower back.

It's possible that she may be teething. Or she could just not be feeling well. Either way it's good that you have a doctors appointment made for her. Ask the doctor if he thinks its her teeth growing in. If so you can put the numbing gel on her gums and it should relieve the pain temporarily. I also gave my daughter the baby Tylenol drops since her doctor said it would be okay and told me the correct dosage to give her. Good luck and I hope your daughter feels better soon!!

I agree with you that you have been giving her gas medicine. When my son was around that age and a little younger he would do the exact same thing. It was in fact the fact he was constipated (I took him to the ER). What type of formula is she on? You might want to consider switching formulas also to help reduce the stomach problems. We put my son on Enfimal Prosobee Lipil, it made a world of difference. This is just a suggestion and what worked for my son, every child is different. Always go with your gut and if you think she needs a doctor...get her there ASAP. Good luck!

How long has it been since she pooped? Eating and life in general can be pretty unpleasant when you haven't gone for awhile! You might want to try a warm bath and massaging her tummy in a circular motion. It worked like a charm with my little ones. She might also be teething or even going through a growth spurt. You might want to check out www.opmom.com. It's a great site with tons of information. Hope she feels better soon!

I don't know, but she sound's like she is sleeping alot for her age.
My son has just turned one, he goes to bed at 8, gets up at 8 and has a 30 min nap during the day.
Could she be getting too much sleep, that can make people cranky.
Other than that i have no ideas!?!

Have you tried giving her a teething ring? It's entirely possible that she's teething, and in pain. If you don't have a teething ring for her, try an ice cube...If it helps her to stop crying, then perhaps it would be worth purchasing a new teething ring or even some teething pain-relief gel to help her out.

im no doctor so i have no idea what could be wrong with her (or if theres even something wong with her)
but
next time she starts crying hysterically
bring her to the bathroom (or kitchen) and turn the faucet on
the sound of running water reminds babies of being in the womb and relaxes them
that should stop the crying
hope i helped

get her ears checked sounds like a middle ear infection, also get her some simethicone drops for gas and see if that helps, she is holding a lot of gas if she burped like that...most of all, DO NOT loose your cool, I know it is tough at times, I have a six month old who is colicky.....hang in there!
