i was at lunch (HIGH SCHOOL) and friend kept asking someone to buy him pizza with a one dollar bill.I offered him my cookies for it and he said no then my other friend bought him a pizza and he got a dollar from him then i traded my cookies for the dollar bill. I think it may be counterfeit but i dont know\

The kid is really nice and really would seem to do this.Also should i keep it or how can i tell .

And last could i get in trouble if i spent it but didnt copy or have anything to do with it think it could be counterfeit but not sure.it that happens what would happen to me (IM A FRESHMEN)

If you used a bill that you knew or suspected was a counterfeit bill and it turns up that it is you could be charged with passing counterfeit money. It's a serious charge.

People don't normally counterfeit one dollar bills as creating bills that look real is pretty expensive.
