Where I'm from in Maine we don't have one in our state. We don't even have one in New England. I hate how they tease us people that don't have a Sonic in our state or region of the country that we live in. I mean if your going to show us this place with delicious food and drinks on commercials than build the darn place close to us! <_< I had it for the first time on the way home from Virginia Beach this past June in Delaware which is the closest one to us (which is 10+ hours away) The drinks and food were so good! It just aggravates me the fact that they show comemrcials of this delicious food and drinks to us peopel that don't have one in our state and/or region and have to drive numerous hours away to get to one. Who else is disappointed and aggravated by this?

Since Sonic restaurants only do curb service, and generally have no diningroom, it makes sense that they would stay in the warmer regions. Even in the southern states where the winters are mild, they do less buiness in the cold weather.

Just one of the advantages toliving in Nashville TN instead of McKeesport, PA.

I've had this same convo sooo many times!! I live in MD and we don't have any Sonics but when I visited my sister in Charlotte, she took me to one. All I could remember was the Sonic's commercial where they show the thousands & thousands of different drink combinations you can make. I literally sat at the window for 5 whole minutes, contemplating which drink I wanted to get. I couldn't decide so I ended up getting 2 drinks, a vanilla milkshake & one of the slushees. After we got our food, I would take a bite of my burger and then I'd have 1 cup in 1 hand and 1 in the other and go back & forth sipping from the cups, lol I looked so fat!!

I don't know, I grew up in Pennsylvania and never even heard of Sonic, I also lived in Massachusetts and not one there either, I finally got to eat at one where I live now in Missouri and there is a new one only 6 blocks away. I'll eat some onion rings for you!!
