WASHINGTON - President Bush on Monday exhorted Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf to hold elections and relinquish his army post "as soon as possible." (And don't forget about how Dumbya liked to play "Top Gun" on the Abraham Lincon and how much he likes to call himself "CinC")

I bet the bogus abuse reports are already flowing.

You need to cut Bush a little slack on this one. By next March he will be telling us "I said Mr.Musharraf, 'Tear down this wall1'" or is it "Ich bin ein Pakistani"?

Anyhow Musharraf had already told the U.S. that elections would be held in February.

As to whether we've had an election since '96, we have, but it was overridden. And that was not a "joke" even though it put one in the White House.

This doesn't make any sense at all... It's funny how people pay attention to everything Bush says when he's joking but nobody said anything about Clinton saying he wanted to be the president of Russia after his two terms....
