Dinner on Sunday.
We used to get together every week, now we do it about once or twice a month.
With hectic lives, different jobs, other relatives, etc. it gets harder to get together. But we like to have these simple meals on Sunday on alternating houses and places.
It's not so much about the food and drink (though we do enjoy it all!) but about sharing and spending time with the family.
Sometimes, nobody cooks and we just order takeout.

Going over my aunt's house for Thanksgiving and getting her sweet potato pie.............the best sweet potato pie ever!!!!!!!!!

I have been there, or had it sent to me every Thanksgiving since I've been alive (26 years) and I have never been without it. Favorite dessert in the whole wide world!
