You spray it with oven cleaner and leave it overnight. Then the next day you scrub your little heart out. Using a brillo pad.

If there are still spots left, take some coarse salt like kosher salt and a piece of citrus fruit like a lemon or lime or orange and use that to scrub the spots that are left.

The best product i have found in the cleaning industry you can still buy over the counter....Easy Off Oven Cleaner.... spray the oven and surfaces and let stand for 2-4 hours. After some time has gone by put gloves on and use a scratch pad and most will come clean very easily some you may still have to use some elbo grease... but after cleaning many a ovens in my time this is the best way i have found..... Easy Off comes in different smells to make it a little barable as well! If i was there i would come clean it for you!

I've done the bleach, but it was a 5% solution. It worked pretty good, at least it got old algae off the ornaments. It might be your best option for the ornaments if they're something you want to keep. I'd do it in a separate bucket though. You can do the same with the gravel. I don't really like using bleach in the tank because I've had it mess up the silicon. Try the vinegar first, or water with a lot of salt as a scrub. If that still leaves residue, use something called Barkeeper's Friend. You can find this along with cleaning supplies in a lot of stores. It's a powder that's used to clean glassware that's meant for people to drink from, and a bunch of other stuff. Just rinse everything well afterward. I've used the above to clean some pretty filthy tanks and accessories I got from a used equipment auction.

First check your oven for a self cleaning feature.. If so than set it before you go to bed or while you are home during the day... Do not use oven cleaner... Let the oven cool down and wipe with a damp cloth.. Good luck
