This color can go so many ways.
I would invest in "seasonal" colors.
Fall- warms- coral/bronze or metalic golds
Winter stick with the good holiday colors- red.
Your in a hurry and wear black to most events, so classic colors are best.
Summer/ Spring- cools- pinks
I'm a redhead and actually change the "hue" of my hair lighter and darker with the seasons as well. I darken my eyebrows and wear darker colors all over my face/body in the winter as well.
Good luck.
Get a color wheel from an art store and take it to you r closet look at your wardrobe and find the colors on the oppisite side of the chart to bring more colors that look good "naturally" on you.
I often will do that with my makeup. Something in the same color family, and nothing is "matchy matchy". Looks better to me.
Good luck.

First you need to determine your skin tone - either warm or cool. Here's how to check:
Warm skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear green.
2. Gold jewelry is more flattering than silver jewelry.
Cool skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear blue.
2. Silver jewelry is more flattering.
If you have warm skin tone then consider burgundy like OPI's Malaga Wine, a ruby red w/ subtle sparkles like Essie's Swing Velvet, eggplant or a pearly taupe like Essie's Buy Me a Cameo.
If you have cool skin tone, chose jewel tones. Blue reds like OPI's I'm Not a Waitress or Edinburgundy. Sapphire blues or amethyst purples look dramatic.
Essie's Sugar Daddy = my favorite neutral. It's a pale pink that makes nails look so finished & elegant.

Email Carmen on the US YA team - keep her busy - stop her pressing the suspend button. She is an expert on painting her nails - so I'm told. lol

Why don't you try a suttle pink instead of hot pink?
