you don't want to use a petroleum based product nor do you want to use an oil based product, both are bad for the female vagina. You want a water based jelly like KY, or astroglide.

Petrolium Jelly works, it's just a little harder to get off. You should use something that is water based. Just go to the drug store.

I use saliva to supplement natural lubrication sometimes, but I've heard of people using coconut oil.

KY, is by far the best. But there is allot of generic brands out there. They are just as good, and a lot less expensive.
