Hey, it looks like I'm one of the few men who ask about baby names. Too bad. It's pretty important, and children have to live with them their entire lives.
Anyway, these are the ones we are settled on in order of preference:
Relm Darcy (female)
Alexander "Xander" Bradley (male)
Dane Jackson (2nd male)
Celeste Denice (2nd female)
Jackson is a family name (my grandpa) and Darcy is a play off of my mother's middle name. Bradley is the name of my wife's late father. The rest are just ones that we like. Yes, Relm is made-up.
Be honest, but polite. What do you think?

coolteam: I'm aware Relm is unusual, but I think it's a strong name, and should be a first name. As for the gender thing, there are plenty of names that don't give you a clue as to the bearer's sex.
As for Dane, I think Dane Cook is a flash-in-the-pan comedian, and will be long forgotten by the time my son Dane could walk.

GEEGEE: Why shouldn't women have strong names? My wife is a strong woman with the name of a strong woman, and it's her strength that attracted me to her in the first place.

g-girl: I have no reason to believe that my kids won't be "different" anyhow, so there's no point in trying to give them ordinary names. Our differences make us better people, and I will teach my children this.

You are right to say that your child will have to live with the name you choose for them for the rest of their life. That is why it is so important to pick a name that will grow with them.
I LOVE:
Alexander Bradley, and Xander with an X
Dane Jackson
and
Celeste Denice
Relm Darcy is giving me some issues though, for the reason you mentioned above.
I really do think that it could suit the right child, and it like the rhythm. However, it is an odd name. It's not very feminine and the sounds just like the word "Rhelm" which makes me think of Fantasy novels or Video Games. If these are things that are important to you and your wife, then the name might be perfect. Just remember that often children grow up to be quite different from their parents. What if she turns out to be a little ballerina and the name if too tomboyish for her? It is not even long enough to offer her a nickname.
I think that you should go with it if you truly truly love it, but otherwise I think that another name might be better. Darcy Relm might be best.
Good luck finding the perfect name! You've got a great start!

lol good for you - being a real man and taking an interest in your child's future! lol. But seriously, I think that's awesome - I can tell you're already going to be a great father.
On the girls' names, I LOVE the name Darcy. So completely underrated. Mr. Darcy, anyone? lol. I also love the name Relm, even spelled Realm, but I would much rather see it as a middle name. Darcy Realm would be the perfect combination of 'uniqueness' and 'normality'.
I'm with you on your second girls' choice though - I really don't like Celeste or Denice, so it's a good thing they're only your second choice. Celeste is nice enough, but I can't stand Denice - it's too dated (very 80's, to me). Instead of them though, what about Celia? It's absolutely one of my most favorite girls' names at the moment. And instead of Denice - what about Delilah, Daniela, or even Dane (yeah, I think that would be pretty cool on a girl). I like Celia Dane just as much as Darcy Realm, and maybe even a bit more.
On the boys, I love both Alexander and Bradley. Both are really strong, masculine names. I also love both Dane and Jackson. To mix things up a little though, I would love to see Jackson Alexander instead. Jack is just about the greatest nickname a guy could ever have, and to me, Alexander is a better middle name - it's great, but it's just so popular right now as a first name. Or Jackson Bradley, to incorporate both of your family members.
So yeah, if you decided to just skip to the bottom of my ridiculously long answer lol, my vote is for Darcy Relm, Celia Dane, Jackson Alexander, or Jackson Bradley (sorry for mixing them all up lol). If you wanted to stick with just the combinations you listed, I would choose Relm Darcy and Alexander Bradley.
Good luck and congrats!

Alexander Bradley "Xander" is grand.
I love the name Celeste for a girl but don't really care for Denice, Darcy or Relm. Darcy if I had to choose one. Celeste Darcy. I like the name Wren, which has the same initial sound as Relm. Wren Darcy.
I love the name Jackson, but I don't care for Dane, it's stiff and chilly. Jackson Alexander would be nice, too. Jack or Xander.

I love the name Bradley. I used to love the name Alexander but now everyone is naming their child that. Xander is nice, but whenever I meet an Alexander I call them Alex, not Xander.
Celeste seems to older to me. It does, however remind me of an angel. I'm not a huge fan of Denise though.
Relm is very interesting. I love names that are "out there" and not something you see everyday. When I think Relm I think of a boy though.
Relm Darcy - 5/10
Alexander "Xander" Bradley - 7/10
Dane Jackson - 5/10 (I like Jackson better than Dane, personally.)
Celeste Denice - 4/10
I rate hard, by the way. I rarely give anywhere over 8/10, if you think those are low.
Congrats on the baby!

I'm glad to see a guy asking about kids names. Good for you!
Relm Darcy (female) -I don't like this one. I think Darcy Relm is much nicer. Relm sounds like a character in a fantasy novel, not a child. Also, if you have to tell us it's a girl's name, it's not a good name.
Alexander "Xander" Bradley (male) -It's fine. I hate all variants of Alexander, but I do like the nickname Xander. I think it's really cool when people use family names; my kids are going to have our parents' names as their middle names.
Dane Jackson (2nd male) -I like it. It's cool, and unusual, though I do think of Dane Cook.
Celeste Denice (2nd female) -I don't care for it. I always think of "molest" when I hear "Celeste". It's not a bad name, though. Denise is my really dumb aunt's name, so I really don't like it.

Alexander Bradley is adorable, I like it a lot, and Dane Jackson as well. I've always loved the name Jackson, and Dane goes well with it. Celeste is OKAY. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either.
I'm really not too crazy about Relm at all. It makes me think of like "from another relm" and video games. I also don't think that it goes well with the other children's names. Darcy, however, is nice, and if you must use Relm, use it as the middle name, go with "Darcy Relm" instead.
Good luck!!

Like Darcy Relm better, as Relm might be a bit too "strong" as a girl's name.
Prefer Alexander Bradley over Dane Jackson- Alex and Alec are cute nicknames too.
Celeste Denice is nice but prefer spelling of Denise (not all that significant, but...... just one of those things, lol)
Re your comment: replace the word strong with manish
