to be magnetic you need a small amount of iron in it stainless does not have any

stainless steel the high quality steels like 316 and 316L do not rust because they don't contain iron which makes things rust

I'm confused by the 10.9 number. Normally all the stainless grades that I am familiar with are "A". Like A1, A2, etc. The 10.9 grade refers to a "mild" steel. A 10.9 is a fairly high tensile strength steel. So, I have to say the answer is Yes.
Also, to those that say no stainless steel is magnetic that is simply not true. Please read:

Stainless steel is mainly Iron and ferrous: It IS Magnetic, even normal steel is an alloy of Iron and carbon. Stainless has at least 10.5% Chromium, sometimes Manganese or Nickel as well, just to make it oxides less ("Stain Less"). It still corrodes.

PS just checked and it is Molybdenum, not Manganese that is sometimes added

PPS I'm guessing the 10.9 you are referring to relates to the Chromium content
