Liberal response to a WMD attack?

What would the Liberal response be if we were attacked by a stateless group utilizing some type of WMD(either nuclear,biological,or chemical)?
Turn the other cheek?
Bury your head further into the sand?
Blame a President?
Blame America?
Respond in kind(against who?)
Ask the administration why they "allowed" it to happen?

PLEASE READ THE QUESTION!!
If we are attacked,what would those of the Liberal persuasion do??!!
All I'm seeing from most of you is the expected "blame Bush game"!!

Liberal and lucid are antonyms. I think your expectations for the responses you are receiving are too high.

Personally, I think they would "ask the administration why they allowed it to happen". To which the administration should point out that the liberals in Congress took away all the tools that made the prevention of such an event possible.

relies upon on the situations. customarily, we could consistently retaliate yet this time strike the extremely perpetrators and not third party international locations which had no longer something to do with the attack. of course, Iran and North Korea (as are the different destiny nuclear-in a position international locations who have not sign in to the non-use treaty) are concern to nuclear retaliation. If that happens that just changes the whole playing field. Everyone lines up behind the President, politics is temporarily pushed aside, and everyone becomes more hawkish, so there would definetley be a military response no matter who the President is.

On the aftermath of the attack, I will go on photo-ops after photo-ops on the areas that got hit to show that I am actually doing something. This way I will be praised and held up as good commander-in-chief by my fellow citizens even though I didnt do my job.

And what are you going to do about it ?? Those FBI reports and more than 11 countries warning me about an imminent attack is just such a nuisance, and you are being 1 too !

Ask the adminisration why they spent ALL of that money and resourses on a NON enemy and let the security of the USA go unattended?

The liberal response would be to find the perpetrators and strike back at them wherever they are. Being liberal does not mean being lawless or cowardly.

They would not do any of the choices you have given here.

We would take precautions so it would not happen.
But if it did then we would respond appropriately. We would be talking with the leaders or other leaders. We would be smart and intelligent about it. We wouldn't be as arrogant as Bush/Cheney. They cannot admit mistakes. Do we have robots for leaders? All humans make mistakes.
