Colts were all over the Pats for three quarters. They need to maintain that. Its the only way. You have to pressure Brady. Cut off the head and the body dies.

I dont worry too much about it. The Dolphins shut them out last year and then they scored in every quarter the rest of the season. The Colts slowed them down for 3 quarters, and the Patriots did not match the Colts intensity all game even in the 4th, but they still managed to adjust to what the Colts were doing and started hitting big plays down the field on the Colts who seldom give up big plays.
Alot of things contribute to a game, the Colts were doing some different stuff on defense than they ussually do and they were playing well. The Colts had a bye week to look at film from New England so they were pretty well prepared for what New England wanted to do.

I don't think that other defenses can get that pressure on Brady without blitzing or be physical like Sanders. More teams could beat them if they had the players that the Colts have.
As far as offense goes, not many teams have Manning, Harrison and Addai to put up points on the NE defense.
If be blueprint you mean that they have to be the colts to beat them, then I agree, but I don't think that any other team in the NFL is close to those 2.
Also, they had 14 points off of turnovers, so the guy above me is wrong.
It is no revelation that if you can sack Brady and he throws some INTs then you can win, it is just that most teams can't do that.

Pressure on the QB is the blueprint to beat any team in the NFL. Problem is actually doing it. Even yesterday the Colts did it to Brady in spots but on key plays in the 4th quarter the Colts rush wasn't there. The Pats kept good pressure on Manning for most of the game even though they didn't always sack him, they were in his face often and made him move.

Maybe, but you still need talent to beat a good team. The Colts are the most talented team they'll see all year. I don't see anyone that can match up toe to toe with them till the AFC Championship game.

yes i do think it showed that even with all those weapons on offense they can still be beaten you just have to bring a defensive game. you also have to score when your in the red zone and not settle for field goals which helped keep the pats in the game. you also have to benefit from turnovers which the colts really didn't do much of.
