I've never been divorced yet but my marriage is hanging by a thread.
I met my husband 27 years ago and I thought I had a good marriage, at least not a bad one.
Then I hit menopause and my husband could not get it up anymore and lost his desire for me.
He needed a younger partner and since he had money, those girlfriends were not hard to find.
Now he tells me he wants a secret divorce, one that nobody should know about it, not our friends, our families and even our children!!!
I don't know if he's having a midlife crisis or just decided he does not have only one life, he can get a second one and start over.
It's going to be hard for me to trust anyone after that.

yes, was blissfully married in 2002 to my boyfriend of 5 years, we were so happy (I thought) we got pregnant end of 2003(very much planned).
I left for work one morning when I was 7 months gone, he kissed me good bye and bump for good measure!
That night I came home and he was gone, just empty spaces where his stuff had been, no note no phone call.
It was as if he had never existed, even his parents couldn't find him. So I got on with it, had our little angel in June 2004, let go of the pain and hurt and got on with life, he showed up when our baby was a few weeks old expecting to just slip back in to our old life but by then i didn't love him any more, it was too late.
Then I met and married my current husband, we have a six month old baby boy and I am again blissfully happy.
Will I have reservations this time? yes
Will I protect myself more this time? yes
Will I love my new husband less? no, never.
My ex sees our little boy every weekend, he never told me why he left, he still thinks that one day I will come back to him.
Will I? never.

Twice, from the same guy! lol Now we are friends and get along great. We just can't handle being married. My dad was the same way with his second wife--better friends than married. I do want to get married again, but to someone else. I just have to find him first. lol

I have once. I actually want to get married again one day but be smarter about it. I was young and we were only together 6 months before we got married and it only lasted 9 months, lol. He was immature and couldn't get out of his mommies womb.

no....but my boyfriend has twice...I have never been married...came close once but thankfully called it off. Now, i am with my boyfriend of 5 years and once HIS bills are paid off, we will think about marriage

I've been trying to divorce my husband for about 5 years, but he refuses to sign the papers.
I'm with you, no more marriage.
