My husband has a Denver Broncos jersey under McCaffery, I think his first name is Ed, however when I try to google his name there are several that come up, but no description matches the Denver Broncos. Can someone please answer this? I would also lke to know other facts about him and if you have a specifi website I can go to I would appreciate that as well. Thanks for any answers that you can provide.

Ed McCaffery, a Pennsylvania native who attended Stanford, was a receiver for the Broncos, Niners and Giants, and retired in March 2004 after 13 seasons, the last 8 with Denver.

He was, with Rod Smith, one of the last NFL pair of receivers to each get 100 catches in a season.

He has a dedicated web site and and entry in Wikipedia. Links below.

As a 31-year Broncos fan, I am happy to see your question. I'm sure I'd get along with your husband. You are also a very good wife to be interested in what he likes. Have a great fact-finding.

A wr for the Broncos that was very tuff and had hands that would catch a ball anywhere in his area. He was never scare to take a hit and he took many scary hits going up for catches. He became very popular to fans of the Denver Broncos and even made some store items like a Mustard and Ed's endzone O's.

I think it's cool that you are interested in what you husband likes.

i assume there's a question in there. No i do no longer basically like the broncos and a pair of great bowls out of 40 two is infrequently a landslide of victories. once you arise to 5 great bowl wins verify returned. bypass Cowboys.

I also have one of Easy Ed's jerseys. He was drafted by NY in 1991 and later went to play in Denver. He won 2 SB rings with the Broncos.

He played his college football at Stanford. He was a goofy looking dude...but he got it done.

Easy Ed McCaffrey - he was a tall white WR for the Broncos (started with the Giants). He was pretty damn good too - caught 100 passes one season I believe (1999-2000 or so).

edit - I looked him up: 101 catches, 9 TD, 1317 yards in 2000.

Played with NY and Denver and Cleveland. Had an infant seriously ill who may have died right around Super Bowl time; heartbreaking stuff.
