For instance say if you are a woman who has kids in say a baby carriage or a double baby carriage and you're trying to open a door to a store to enter into but while you're doing that you're struggling to keep the door open and wheel your baby carriage into the store as well and I grab the door open for you. Or if you're in a supermarket and I move a shopping cart out of your way so that you can pass with your shopping cart. Would you say things like that make a huge difference in the world or would you say that those are small and insignificant things being done and have no part of making the world a better place or life easier? Or is this world so messed up that it'll take a huge miracle to make the life better?

It is the small gestures that matter the most. That's in everyday life though. If everyone would be more positive and helpful, this world would be better. Instead, people are self-centered and don't really care for the people around them, therefore, creating a negative place to live. We just need to wake up.

The littliest gestures in life make the biggest differences because they are so ordinary and simple and yet are profound actiopns to show how we act as humans. Words are only a small part of life and of communication itself. When do any actions and that includes small gestures then we cdommunicate a louder message of who we are . We demonstrate who we are .We show how much we are here for others and this fulfill a mmeans of charity and to some people a very big deed indeed.

The smallest gestures are extremely important.

Quite often, I am one of those mums struggling with the door and pram. When a nice person helps me out, it's alot easier for me. I smile and always thank the person.

I also do the same in return. I refuse to believe the world is too messed up for people not to care....

No act of kindness is ever insignificant. As a mom, I know I appreciate the help when needed. Often, if I'm at the gorcery store without my kids, I'll make an effort to let themom behind me cut in line so she can get her kids home... When driving, I ALWAYS let people in when lanes merge or if someone is trying to pull out of a parking lot... when I see someone trying to console a crying child while the other child looks as though he could get into mischeif, I'll entertain the bored one for a moment while mom is regaining her wits.... it may not be much to me but it may mean the world to someone....

I love stuff like that. A guy holding a door open for me will put a smile on my face for the rest of the day.

Yes, because it shows they care, instead of once in a while which shows that they feel it is appropriate to get you something at that time.
