I saw an add on TV for a garment steamers. Claims to save a lot of ironing time. The product is called TOBI and was presented on a TV Marketing show. I doubt this exact product is very good quality wise, but I want to know if any of you use garment steamers and if they really do cut down on the ironing.

Take your clothes in the bathroom when you shower in the morning.... it doesn't cost anything.
Seriously, though, steamers are really only for people in the garment industry, or store owners. The time it takes to set it up and wait while it heats the water to steaming temperature can't be much less fuss than ironing.

My daughter got married a few weeks ago, and I knew that we'd be getting ready in a room with no shower, and that the bridesmaid's dresses would be crumpled (they were all purchased and fitted several weeks before the event). With that in mind, I went to Bed, Bath & Beyond, and bought a Conair garment steamer. It was only $69.99 (plus I got a 20% off coupon from BB&B, so it really only cost me $60)...and it absolutely did everything it was advertised to do...I'm quite pleased that I bought it, and have used it several times since the wedding.

Honestly, some of my happiness about this purchase has to do with my tragic ironing situation prior to the purchase...I didn't have a full size ironing board, and the travel iron I had been using for years was really in poor shape, so it has been a big upgrade.

I'm thrilled with mine.

i dont think so. the stuff on info-mertials is usauly crap. and in the end how much do you really iron in a week? its alot eaiser if you just fold you clothes and take care of them to prevent wrinkels.
