Why do age-restricted videogame websites say you have to be 18 to view the website of the game but only 17 to play the game?

I suspect it has to do with 18 year olds being considered adults and legally able to agree with the TOS on the website, while a 17 year old is not an adult and thus cannot legally agree to website access without a parent's permission.

Yep. we don't very own many video clips yet those we do very own are style of violent-y action video clips (my husband has each and all of the Bourne video clips, Oceans 11, stuff like that...) and that i does not permit our babies watch that (our eldest is 10 and that i think of she's considered the 1st Bourne movie, yet i does not choose the greater youthful ones to computer screen any of that for beneficial, and that i don't even like the belief of my 10-year-previous looking at it). i certainly do in comparison to violent video games -- we don't have videogames yet and that i'm not allowing them to get any until they seem to be a minimum of sixteen by using fact quite some comprise so violent and the violent videogames hassle me plenty better than the violent video clips

IDK. I think they just want to make sure that youre 18 it's appropiate even though it's a 17 year old game. They also dont want to be sued [because ppl do sue of stupid stuff].

Good Luck =]
