Tell her that having sex on the first time can be so hard (physically), if the guy doesnt love her or they dont have a commitment what are the odds of getting her pregnant, its a 50/50 toss up! if she gets pregnant then the guy is out of the hook because they are not committed, having sex for the first time (and even not for the first time) needs to be prepared, like the girl should use contraceptives and the calendar method, but it doesnt assure you 100% you wont get pregnant, so tell her to do it with someone she knows so well and loves her so that if anything happens, she will always have someone to back her up. And dont rush into things such as that, if shes not careful she might caught sexually transmitted disease, youll never know who has it until you try it yourself. so tell her theres a lot of risk when having sex with a random guy (just for the sake of having sex with).

Maybe you're talking too much about you and your b/f and she's feeling a bit left out. After all, you two had something special in common, and now that's gone--no wonder she wants to join the club. Maybe your bf has a single friend....maybe you could spend a little more time w/her (w/o talking about sex). Your intentions are good, honey, but the bottom line is that all of this is her choice. You could share these answers with her. My advice to her would be to not do the one-nighter--she'll feel real sleazy after, and who knows what kind of "gift" a stranger will give her.

I agree with you 100%. She needs to wait for the special guy. It isn't easy with peer pressure going on, but as her best friend, you are doing a good job. Remind her that random sex is a VERY big risk for an std, or death. It isn't like it was in the 'good old days', where it could make you sick. Sex now can kill you. Remind her that she is not the only one, more and more girls/women are staying celebate for different reasons. It is a really good thing to do for your self. Tell her to go to a GYN and talk to them, or a health clinic, they can tell her and show her the horrific results of random sex. Besides, she will feel horrible about it later, and it will stay with her for a very long time. I had my first time with a lovely and wonderful boy, he is still one of my friends some 30 years later.

At this time, she is feeling left out that everyone except her is having sex. She is so anxious to have sex, that she is only looking at the present instead of potential emotional and physical effects it could have on her. I am 25 and wish that i have waited for my fiance instead of just wanting to have sex like your friend. Tell her that if she just sleeps with any random guy, she will definitely regret it. Maybe have someone that you both know who went through a similar experience talk to both about her decision. Sometimes, it could really open your eyes. Good luck!

Honey, If you can speak as well as you write, your friend has a great friend in you.
You just tell her everything you just wrote. In fact, have her read it, and all the answers that will come after mine. They will all be agreeing with every word you said. I hope she knows what a good friend she has. For that you get a star! :)

You're a good friend. Why not play with dildos? If her hymen is still intact then of course wait. Tell her that her risks of getting diseases will be better with time and maturity as to whom to pick from the lot.

You need to sit down and talk to her about it and make her realize its not as big of a deal as she thinks.
And would she rather look back at it and regret it.. or look back and be glad it was someone she genuinly wanted to be with.
Good Luck
