My husband and I are having our third baby, but first girl and we have the names narrowed down. Its just so hard to decided and as I get closer to my due date I want to have a name. These are the names:

Allison/Allie for short
Anna
Isabel
Elizabeth

What name do you like????

Please don't answer to say you don't like my names. I am pregnant and hormonal and you don't have to vote if you don't like any of them :)

Also we were thinking Malia for a middle name because it is Hawaiian and I am from Hawaii. My Grandma asked me to pick a Hawaiian middle name. But still not sure on that.

And my two boys names are Ethan Jacob and Matthew Daniel

My clear favorite is Elizabeth. It's a sweet, classic name that has very pretty nickname options, like Beth, Betsy, or Lissa. I think it also sounds the best with your sons' names.

The rest, in order from most to least favorite:

Anna -It's a bit plain, but it's very pretty and underused.

Isabel -It's so pretty, but way too common. It would make a great middle name, though. I prefer the Scottish spelling of Isobel.

Allison -It's so tired and 80's sounding. If you like it just for the nickname Allie, how about Alice or Alyssa?

Here's some combination ideas:

Elizabeth Isobel
Elizabeth Anna
Anna Isobel
Anna Elizabeth
Alice Elizabeth

Hope these help. Good luck with the baby!

My favorites are Anna and Elizabeth - both are strong and timeless. Allison is MUCH too popular in a trendy way, as is Isabel, though they're still pretty names. After all, if you name your child Anna, people won't immediately go 'oh, so you went with the crowd', if you know what I mean.

I think Anna Elizabeth, or if you really like Isabel, Anna Isabel would be gorgeous. I love vowels back to back, the name just sounds awesome that way. Anna has always been one of my favorite names - simple yet absolutely beautiful. For some reason, the name Katherine also pops up in my head when I see these names - Anna Katherine would also be great.

PS What are the names of your other children, if you don't mind giving them up? lol just wanted to see what would flow the best with them.

Good luck and congrats on the first girl!

Well if I hadn't known your sons' names then I would have said Anna but I don't think it flows very well with their names or the middle name Malia (Malia is a nice name though).

I like all of the names you have picked out but I prefer Isabel, then Allison, with Ethan and Matthew, and Malia sounds lovely with both of them.

Hope that helps!

I love the name Allison. I almost named my first girl that, but my husband at the time wasn't too keen on it, so we chose Kaitlynn.
My second girl was between Isabell and Abigail. My husband and I chose Abigail. If I do have another girl, it might be Isabell.
So, I think Isabel or Allison, either one, would be beautiful. If you still can't decide, look the names up in a baby name book and pick whichever meaning you like best, or ask your two boys if they're old enough. Let them feel like they're helping with a very big decision. It will make them feel important and not left out.

Congratulations on a girl!! :) My husband and I have Allison on our list. I like the name Malia for a middle name too. We have Nevaeh and Taylor for middle names. I also like the name Isabel and Elizabeth. They are all very strong but feminine and pretty at the same time. Good luck and God Bless. :)

Allison.
This was to be the name of my second child if he had been a girl. it also goes well with the middle name you have chosen (which was very nice of you to do for your Grandmother).
Please avoid Anna. I really like this name, but it doesn't go as well with the middle name.
Isabel is very pretty, but VERY common these days.
Elizabeth is great too! I can see why you're having a hard time choosing!
Good Luck!

I love Isabel - but you should pick a name that has meaning to you. Name her after a family member that passed (doesn't have the be the exact name, just something similar or starting with the same letter) Also, try to think of why you like each name, and why you don't. Maybe there are bad nicknames that you don't want your daughter to be called.

Isabel is beautiful especially with the middle name you've chosen. And it can be shortened in several pretty ways- Isa, Belle, Bela..... so soft and feminine. Anna is pretty too, but may be "too much" with a middle name that also ends with an a.
