I have Guild wars Factions, and i need to re-install windows on my computer. Do i need to re-buy Guildwars to put in back on windows again? Or is the 50$ i paid just for the account?

no, just re-install the game after you get windows straight. You only paid the $50 for the account. You can even have GW installed on multiple computers (but can only play 1 copy at a time). Just enter your account name and password once it's re-installed.

You paid for the account, not the disk.
Go on and re-install windows. Afterward install Guild Wars and re-patch. After that, you can log in as if nothing happened at all. You could even play on a friends computer if you want to, only your account matters.
