if it's emotional rather than physical? I don't see it that way, but some people do, what do you think?

cheating MUST be physical otherwise it's just flirting

Well I wouldn't call it cheating. But to get personal if I found out my boyfriend was attracted emotionally rather than physically I'd be a little less upset but probably be really hurt still you know. I think breaking up tho would have to depend on how deep you felt for the other person. If you feel more for the other person or would rather be with them then you shouldn't keep hurting the one you're with by staying with them longer it will only hurt more when you end it.

If you have a closer emotional relationship with someone other than the person you vowed to stay committed to for the rest of your life than it's cheating......just like if you have a closer physical relationship with someone other than the person you vowed to stay committed to for the rest of your life is cheating.

Unless of course if you've been given prior permission and it's a natural part of your relationship with your spouse or significant other.

I don't see how it's considered cheating. The only argument I can think of is....you're thinking about it. Which I guess could be cheating, so I guess if you're emotionally cheating, get out before you do cheat. No, I don't think it's cheating, but I don't think it's a good thing to do either way.

I would think that you emotional attraction would eventually turn into physical attraction. So I would say it is considered cheating.

I think is more "immature" than cheating...but, the best way to answer your own question, is by asking yourself how would you feel if it was your boyfriend/husband doing what you are doing. I think that if you can answer this question honestly you would be able to tell if is "cheating" or not.

it's worse than the physical, cuz then that's supm th other person can't fix. if u start having feelings for another, ur relationship is in jeopardy.

Yes I believe so because if you emotionally love someone else then it's not fair to the person you are "with" at the time if you can't give them the love they need because all of your attention is focused elsewhere.

absolutely...you are cheating in your heart. consider this...if you are doing ANYTHING that you feel the need 2 hide from your significant other, then you are cheating them...
