Difficult gcse maths question got exam tomorow!?

I have a non calculator maths gcse exam tomorow, and a question similar to this is bound to come up: I have added a link please could you solve and explain how its done, thank you soo much.

CD / ( 6 + 4 ) = 4.8 / 6
6CD = 48
CD = 8

CD : BE as AE : AD

So CD = 10/6 * 4.8 = 8
