Yes, lots of people are named after the months of the year.

Why not? lol it has the potential to be really pretty - though I think it would work much better as a middle name. These kind of things are the 'unique' names I love - names based on actual ideas, like West, Chance, Maine, January, etc used as a cool middle name rather than the 'kre8ative' twisted spellings of perfectly good names. I think Amelia Maine sounds and looks so much better than Maihkyla Jaiedon or whatever.

Essentially any month or day name could be used. January is one of the more common 'uncommon' ones - Jan would be a great nickname. Then there's of course April, May, June, July, and August. September would be awesome, as would October, November, or December. (But as middle names still!) Days of the week would also be really cool - like Thursday Next, the character from the Eyre Affair series by Jasper Fforde, if anyone's read that. Jane Thursday would be so cute lol. (By the way, Thursday's mother was Wednesday and she names her son Friday later on lol.) Wednesday Addams, of course, is another great inspiration. You could use the nickname Wendy for it - adorable lol.

Good luck!

I have never heard of February being a name. April, May, and June are used as names; also I heard of a boy being named August. Why not Summer or Autumn for a name? I think Autumn is a pretty name.

April is a name, as is June, August, and May. Wednesday was the name of the little girl on the Adam's Family, but I've never heard of it really being used otherwise.

If you want to name a child February, I don't see why you can't.

Month names have been used for names (mostly women's) for many years. March, April, May, and June (remember June Cleaver?) are the most commonly-used monthly names, but there are no rules forbidding the use of any month as a name.

In fact, I think the only "downside" of using a month for a name (for a woman of course) is that if someone should playfully say, 'Here comes Miss February' (instead of Miss Debra or Miss Susan), someone might think they were talking about a Playboy playmate!

Yes I would say February can be a name. other names are April , June, May. If you want to do seasons Summer. You know if some people name their child Bud Weiser, Prince Albert. I am sure you can do February.

February is not a good name. April, May, & June can be used for a girl.

April, May, June, not sure about July. August (or Augustus) is a boy's name.

Not sure why you would want to name your child after the coldest, darkest, most miserable month of the year, but maybe February is a good month where you live!

April, May (Mae) and June are very common first names, but the only one I like is April. May or Mae is a great middle name, but I don't care for June at all.
As others have said, you can name any one any thing, but why would you want to? There was Tuesday Weld, an actress/model in the 1960's, and of course Wedsneday of the Adamm's family........... Season's can be names - Summer and Autumn are pretty, especially Autumn.

April, May, June, and August are so why not? I'd come up with a good nick name for the child as well.
One of the more famous Weekday naming is: Wednesday Friday Addams from the Addams Family TV show.

Yes February can be a name. All of the months can be names. It's whatever your heart desires for you to name your child.
