Can't they just change the channel and shut up about it?

OK, let's just say the worst is true and Fox isn't Fair and Balanced. It's just a right-wing propaganda outlet. So what's the problem now? Do lefties, who as we are all aware are the most ardent defenders of free speech, just not like the opposing view to be heard?

It's not "fair and balanced."

If truth-in-adversting statutes were applied effectively, Fox "News" would have had to change its name and slogan or have the plug pulled on them.

The emphasis on illusion and propaganda over actual journalistic integrity does nothing for its reputation either.

Oh my goodness, another right winger talking about fox news and claiming the liberals wont' shut up about the issue. Sickening I say.

Let me put it to you this way, we support free speech and it's a wonderful thing, but we also have libel and slander laws and they are a good thing. The problem with Fox News is that network has little to do with news. They conjure up false stories, they consistantly misrepresent facts and it's always against a democrat or liberal or the democratic agenda.

I have no problem if Fox News wants to be a right wing propaganda machine, they should just come out and announce what they are.

About the only people I hear even bringing up Fox News are right wing fanatics such as yourself.

the hosts on the Fox News shows certainly don't like the opposing view to be heard, as they frequently interrupt their guests while questions are being answered.

The main reason I'm not fond of Fox News actually has little to do with bias. It's more that they focus on one thing and beat it with a stick for a good several minutes so they can ensure it is badly injured, to say the least, before moving on to the next topic.

There's a lot of news across the world that should get some coverage but whose coverage doesn't see the light of day on Fox News because the anchors are too busy with trivial issues.

Because they cloud the issues with stupid crap and we need for all media not just Fox to cut it out and stick to the real issues that concern us all. They have Bill O'Riely talking about how blacks eat in restaurants just like whites and Obama didn't wear a flag pin. Big deal ! Fox is for losers who can't grasp the real life issues. I think it should be called T.V. for hate mongers.

I have no problem with FOX News existing. I have a problem with FOX claiming that all they broadcast is news (see definition--*note that synonym is "intelligence" and there you go.). It is usually angry yelling of commentary, with small blurbs of other sources' newsclips mixed in in such a way as to mislead their own viewers... I see they've succeeded.

*Wow, let me state the obvious: I am familiar with changing a channel. I do it whenever I land on Fox, but I'm looking for a news show.

The current Liberal Left can't handle facts. If you confront them with facts, they have no comeback. Consider that when Al Gore is confronted with questions regarding why there is so much evidence that Global Warming isn't man-made and that there are other elements affecting it, he responds with "we simply don't know"... as if we didn't already know that.
Hillary can't even answer a yes or no question about whether or not she supports giving driver's licenses to illegals.
They require softball interviews with supporters... and can't handle being posed difficult questions.
Funny, though, that the Conservative candidates go on all the networks and field whatever is thrown at them...
