I think it did.
Tom 'terrific' showed that he's human, Manning showed that he's human (both threw picks, performed below their 'standards'). Bellichick continued to show his lack of class (now he's accusing others of doing what HE did).
But, I'm glad it's finally over because I'm sick & tired of all the jock riding!
My Steelers show convincingly wax Patriot azz later this season since Indy couldn't.

It was a very good game and all I hoped it would be. The Colts stopped the patriots on a lot of things that had become routine in their football games. The game was also very close, which made it even better. As far as living up to the hype? Well, no game can ever live up to the hype that it is given the week or two before. Not even the Superbowl.

It was a much better game than I thought. I figured it would be a blow-up one way or the other, but I was surprised by how well the defenses played, especially the Colts "holding" Brady and co to 24 points. I have new respect for that Colts D.
FYI, I really had no rooting interest in the game, and there were some questionable calls by the refs, but I didn't think the officiating was biased one way or the other. I saw bad calls and bad non-calls that went both ways.

I don't think anything could have lived up to the hype given to that game, but it was a terrific matchup. Nice comeback by the Pats, some good defense by both teams, and an exciting finish.
The only negative was the poor officiating, especially on a couple of phantom pass interference calls.

It was a great game... You thought It might be a 49-42 shootout but instead it was like more of a defensive game.. and on top of it the Patriots made an amazing come back so it was a great game regardless who you were rooting for...

It was a very close game and was very good. But questionable penalties kinda ruined it as being considered a classic game that would be repeated on ESPN for years to come

Not even close. The Browns vs. Seahawks game was better.
