I agree with Frank. We need to seal the border then work on settling the question of what to do with the ones that are here. "Ship them back!" is easy to say but in reality that won't work.

In 1963-64, when I was running for political office in the southern most county of Texas, I proposed that the American troupes be returned from overseas and stationed all the way around the USA, stop all the entrants, unless they had a 'previous job guarantee' and warranted, by the employer, that the 'entrant' would return to Mexico!!!
I was condemned as being an absolute NUT, and the DEMOCRAT PARTY LEADERS WERE THE DETRACTORS !!!!! The Republicans just did not have the slightest Idea of what I was talking about !!!!!!!!I am not claiming to have a large amount of foresight, knowledge, wisdom, or such, but all any one has to do, is look at the trend/s !!!!
Our politicians have made a complete mockery of immigration, and the laws.
I feel great pity for the Border Patrol Officers, who have to work under the conditions, currently prevailing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

seein different ignorant people right here nevertheless attempting to declare the "jobs individuals wont do" line.... reducing grass - the illegals that shrink grass are no longer employed, they paintings for themselves regularly as a team. pass take a glance at any registered landscaping business company. the employees are often white. choosing fruit - those are regularly jobs that highschool childrens and such get for minimum salary. no they wont do if for $2-3 an hour cuz it relatively is against the regulation. organic and easy. handing over foodstuff - notably much everytime I certainly have ordered foodstuff it replaced into introduced the two via a white or black male under 25. the only time you get imigrants is once you order ethnic meals. do you assume a white baby to convey you ur terriyaki chicken? they're owned via people of diverse ethnicities and characteristic a tendency to hire people who're of the comparable ethnicity for the adventure. you dont prefer to pass to a mexican resturaunt and spot 10 white adult men cook dinner ur foodstuff. my fav mex restaraunt right here, different the employees cant even communicate english. manicures - cant extremely say i'm getting different manicures... yet i understand different the nail salons around listed right here are owned via black women individuals... i dont understand how each physique keeps making those claims that individuals wont do those jobs, while a lot of people attempt to get those jobs, yet cant get employed through fact the illegals can paintings for under minimum salary, (and do ok, through fact they dont could pay taxes, property taxes, and so on...)

Problems with your 'send them all packing' idea.
1) First you need to identify those 12 to 20 people and find a way to register them.
2) Saying you could identify those 12 to 20 million, how and exactly where would you pack them off to?
3) Until our borders are secure you'd have no way to stop those 12 to 20 million from turning right around and coming back into the US.
And even if you could solve those three problems you bring up a good point. What about husbands and wives of legal US citizens, or even children, or parents, or grand parents, etc.

illegal immigration is not the problem...it's a symptom of the problem.
The only way to get people to come through the "front door" of America is to make it wider, and easier for the poor/uneducated to use... otherwise they will continue using the "backdoor".
Additionally, it is logistically and fiscally impossible to retro-enforce a law that hasn't been enforced for several decades. Yes we have to be realistic. We have to give them a path to citizenship, otherwise we will always have millions of undocumented people inside our borders.
Something else not alot of people are thinking about...
And that is retirement ... What happens when the illegal immigrants get old and can't work anymore...?? Now we have a huge surge in homeless populations,....what do we do with them ? It will only increase the burden on taxpayers through social programs, because undocumented workers haven't had access to retirement plans through their employers or even SS.

Yes. Enforce the legal penalties against hiring illegals, and stop providing other financial aid, and they will self-deport.
No no need to round them all up - many will leave by themselves when the incentives dry up.
PS A very large percentage of the immigrants who came here - legally - in the early 1900's ended up going back home. Maybe over 50%.
Economics works to create incentives, and disincentives.

The problem is that even if we grant amnesty and finally secure the border, the anti-American Globalist traitors in government win. It's like giving medical attention to someone who is already dead- too late. Also 12-20million is a very conservative estimate. Also, the new bill will give way to more chain migration, so that number will raise even more.

I personally was born in Canada, and wanted to live in the United States for a few years just for the fun of it. I figured that since Canada is part of America, I would rather save the hassles of filling the papers and most important then anything, would not have to reject my current nationality to get one that have less advantages in my beliefs (America goes all the way from Canada to Brazil if I don't get it wrong). In fact, I never came in "America", since I was born and raised in "America". And since I can virtually work at any places in the world, doing exactly the very same job I am doing home (I have staff working for me worldwide), I figured the US should only be happy to have someone spend their money in their country instead of having me do the exact same work with the exact same people and spend my money at home. And of course, I know a lots of American who do exactly the same when they come to Canada, so why should I care !
Of course, although I never got implied personally with authorities, I got to realize about a freedom that is far from what I knew was freedom since born, and decided to move out of that country. The justice system seems a complete failure, there is no health care in place, routes are not well lighted, we even had to put stickers on our bags of trash. While locals who don't want to spend just dump theirs everywhere. I realized that the United States are in fact a bunch of states each ruling their own rules and law, and to the end, becoming a country with lots of failure and anarchism. I decided to give a hand to these immigrants, to first avoid this country filled with hates for them and little opportunities. So I started a teaching system through poor countries to teach people in central and south America how to steal a job from a US citizens... without having to move out of their home countries. So far, its been provided to about 70,000 people... and a lot more are coming.
Basically, all these countries have high speed internet, IP telephone, some speak good English, others can learn it... Why not take advantage of free trade agreements, pushed by US greed for energy... basically a free trade is paradise : You can legally work in the US, while benefiting of a much lower cost of living!
And all these little food producers who are victims of this lobbying from bigger producer, hidden under an immigration threat: We will welcome then in the south with open arms and cheaper taxes.
If you believe the United States of America is a great country to live at, open your eyes... It's not THAT good ! Tell me about it in 10 years, when all your basic freedoms are gone, and the US currency worth 10% of what it is today.

Yeah, why dont we just toss out any laws that are inconvenient to enforce.
Then, what law is next to be ignored?
What a load of dung.
I say if we have citizens that knowingly married an illegal, then they go too.

No we don't have to be "realistic" about this if your definition of "realistic" is to tolerate an illegal invasion and violation of our sovereignty. We can't deport 20 million, but we can deport 1. If we can deport one, then we can move on and deport 2, etc etc, you get the point right. Perfectionist fallacy is not an excuse to refrain from doing anything at all. So let's get to a deporting and hurry up about it every chance we get!!!
-
Redefining words is silly:
"Choice" means abortion
"Realistic" means amnesty and lawlessness
SILLY!
