Which issue has the most vicious attackers on both sides?
Which issue brings out the most passionate responses?
Is there another issue that people are more violently opposed to each other than these two??

I like the saying "If you can't trust me with a choice, how can you trust me with a child?"
I'd say the whole gay marriage thing is pretty polarizing too. And the teaching of creationism vs. evolution, but not as much.
We need a revolution of reason. Sigh...

The most vicious attacks in my experience are about abortion. The most passionate responses are also about abortion. No, I don't think there is any issue that has more emotion involved than these two.

Life v choice. 80% of us believe in God. The other issue is more split. And, get an anti gun and a NRA member together and watch the sparks fly.

The abortion issue is not a religious one. Pro-choicers paint it as such to marginalize those that disagree with them. It is a moral issue for sure and many people of various faiths may not agree with abortion on demand but many who are not religious also view it as murder and unacceptable...............

The courts have ruled, and rightly so, that abortion is legal and a woman has the right to control her body. The fetus is not a viable human life and therefore abortion is not murder. Abortion has never been a legal issue, it is a moral issue. So if you oppose abortion then never have one.

obviously the pro-life militia are more vicious and passionate...
it takes a great deal of vicious passion to motivate people to kill doctors and bomb clinics...
I don't think there is any other issue that people get as worked up about...none come to mind anyway.

My god v. Your no god is much more inflammatory and violence-inducing. Look to history. Abortion is a recent fight which has obsessed the national consciousness as pertaining to elections. Religious conflicts are fundamental.

Well crushing a babies skull while in the womb is murder 1 they have feelings and therefore are a intelligent life form. Plus the soul involved never gets its chance here on earth it must be odd to go and come back so soon.
Plus I think it makes women power hungry or crazy as if they can legally kill anyone for anything at any time.
What more can be done to cheapen life, I wonder?

Pro-lifers tend to be more vicious in their attacks, telling people they are going to hell or murdering their babies. Pro-choicers just think people should make decisions for themselves.
