Yesterday, by accident I saw an interesting documentation about the Castle of Windsor. In which it was documented how many people it takes to put up a state affair banquet.
It was a majestic in-fluencial affair. However, do we really need such things now a days? When you could easily serve a chicken or pork roast in an oven? Who needs to go through such long pre-pardness and even meassure with a stick how far a plate is from each other or a chair is before a table?

it's called tradition, long may it reign, it's also called employment and brings in a bit of brass ! The royal family, especially the queen earns more money and investment for Gt Britain than it costs to keep the whole of the royal family. Foreigners love the pomp and ceremony. GOD SAVE THE QUEEN.
