The way to do it is to add them up then divide by the number of numbers, so

5/6 + 2/3 = 5/6 = 4/6 = 9/6 DIVIDE BY 2 = 3/4 average
5/9 + 1/3 + 1/4 = 20/36 + 12/36 + 9/36 = 41/36 divide by 3 = 41/108
13/3 + 2/4 + 1/6 = 52/12 + 6/12 + 2/12 = 60/12 divide by 3 = 20/12 or 1 2/3 average
7/9 + 4 + 2/3 = 7/9 + 36/9 + 6/9 =52/9 divide by 3 = 52/27 =
