i got this window that's letting air in from the outside, i feel it when it's cold outside, it's like a tiny stream of cold air, but i can't find out exactly where it is so i can seal it.

Anybody got any clever ideas on how to find out where the leak is, cause i can't seem to find it with my naked eye ?????

You can spray soapy water(1:5 ratio) on the sill and it should bubble up at your leak

If tissue paper, smoke, candle flames or soapy water don't lead you to a leak, consider the possibility that you're just feeling cold air "falling" off the window surface. Check other windows for similar issues. One of the window films may help.

Try lighting a birthday cake candle and holding it near where you guess the breeze is coming in. When it is close the flame will be blown to the side instead of pointing straight up.

If it is coming in around the edges try that WindJammer removable caulk from MAACO. It squirts on like rubber cement and seals the cracks when it dries. Next spring you peel it off by pulling on the edge.

take down the curtains and hold a candle up to the window. when you find the leaking air, it will blow the flame around, the seal it up and continue looking to cover entire window
