I'd say mid 50s would be a little old to be rapping.

I don't think your to old to do anything. It's really a matter of what you want to do and how old you see yourself. A 50 year old man or woman can feel like they're in their 20's or their 80's it all in the mind set. If your mind set is your to old to do or be somthing then the odds are against you. Set yourself up for success, and you destined to achieve your goals and soar with the eagles.

Dude I saw Afrika Bambaataa like 2 weeks ago. Now he IS a founding father of hip-hop and no doubt he's old too. But man that show was sick and energetic. I think as long as you have the passion and energy and put stuff out thats ill, then its all good. NO AGE.

If you can't stay hyped for a concert the whole time your too old, if you don't kno what patron is your an old head, if you smoke joints and think a blunt is a regular cigar too old. If you can't get a sidekick open too old. The list goes on but aint got nothin to do wit age feel me

I would have to say somewhere around the age of 45 - 50 yrs old. However, if you still have what it takes and you constantly polish your skills, then rap as long as you like. To me it doesn't matter how old you get, it only matters when you stop being consistent or stop evolving as an artist. Reinventing yourself is hard to do.
