My boyfriend's appartment building if full of wireless routers, and thats where we plan to raise our baby for a while. But we need a baby monitor that won't be affected by all the wireless routers. But everywhere I look it seems that every baby monitor that I seem interested in will be affected by a wireless router. I've already looked at Wal-Mart, Babies R' 'Us, Ebay, and Best Buy seems to not even carry baby monitors. Where Can I find a baby monitor that won't be affected by wireless routers?

Look for one that operates in the 900 Mhz or the 5.4 GHz frequency range.

Anything that is not 2.4 GHz should work.

an ingenius answer to your proble (as far as i know all monitors will emit rf and be interrupted by radio interference as a result)
would be to stick a small silent pc in your baby's room and attach a mic - hook up to skype and keep it ocnnected to another machine where you are -all from the wireless routers xD

i wasn't aware they ran on the same frequency

try getting a monitor that has a choice of frequency
find out what frequency your wireless uses and then avoid when purchasing a baby monitor
