I have the 2nd one from the top.... I need the fourth on from the top... Can I physically remove the four little analog pins that I dont need, because they are preventing me from plugging this into my monitor... lol
Thanks in advance

(warning, I haven't clicked on the links...)
If I understand you correctly, you are trying to plug a DVI-I cable into a DVI-D only monitor. Rather then try to mod a cable (or worse the monitor) I'd try looking for a DVI adapter. I'm sure you aren't the first person to have this problem.

the probability of a 5 300 and sixty 5 days previous card ..then no the DVI and VGA wont paintings jointly. you will possibly could learn the Spec. to verify for effective. some video playing cards that age can do it. There are some mom boards that make it easier to apply the on board photographs port and the video card for 2 video reveal device. yet now an afternoon you prefer a staggering severe end photographs card with a minimum of two DVI ports and attainable a reveal port.

You have a DVI-I cable? Does it have a DVI-I connector on both ends?
If so, take it back to where you got it from and tell them that they should never, ever, under any circumstances sell anyone a DVI-I to DVI-I cable ever again.
As to your actual question: No. The tab is wider on the DVI-I / DVI-A connectors to ensure that someone does not try to do what you and end up pushing the four pins back into the connector.
You need a DVI-D to DVI-D cable. For resolutions 1920 by 1200 or less a single link, dual link for higher resolutions.

The sockets should have all of the holes, but maybe not connectors in all of the holes. The cable might not have all of the pins. If you don't mind potentially wrecking your cable, do whatever you want to it. You can safely remove those pins without blowing anything up. Is the cable permanently attached to the monitor?

No, don't do it! There are other incompatibilities, the pins are just there to keep you from blowing up your monitor.
