I like to take vacations where you can drive up to places like "rock city," get on a tram and see the sights in tourist towns, like "Key West." Even drive thru the mountains, like in New Hampshire's White Mountains. What places like this do you like to go to?

Go to Colorado...you will love it!!!!!

Denver is a nice city....but you can go to surrounding towns and see some amazing views. The views of the mountains are breath-taking.....its so different from the East Coast mountains.
Places to go:
Estes Park---small resort town that leads you into Rocky Mt. National Park--can drive up the roads in the park to the top of the mountain
Boulder, Co--cool hippy town with great little shops and plenty of outdoor hiking places
Golden, Co--Coors Brewery and one town over is the Red Rocks Ampitheatre which also has some really cool views!!
Pikes Peak--can take a train to the top of the mountain to see the views and there are tons of other outdoor sites to see in the Colorado Springs area

Yosemite natl. park in Calif. There you can ride the valley floor tram tour. Then drive an hour to the south end of the park. You can then ride the open air tram through the Mariposa grove of giant Sequoias. It's a seven mile, 75 minute narrated tour telling you all about the history, wildlife, and everything else you need to know. The drivers there are very knowledgeable of the area, and it's well worth the money. (At least one of their drivers is, and that would be me.) Hope to see you there. Feel free to E-mail me for more info. johN
