Randy Moss is an unbelieveable WR, but without Tom Brady last year, he didn't do nearly as good as he did in 2007. Larry Fitzgerald had the same number of touchdowns as Moss did last year, but about 500 more yards and made it to the super bowl (almost had the game winning touchdown on top of that.) In my eyes, Larry and Moss are just about tied with hands and run after the catch, but I would have to say Larry has the advantage of being younger and can also 'Moss' db's all day. Until we see if Moss can repeat what he did (with the help of Brady) in 2007, i'll 'live in the now', and say Larry Fitzgerald is the best WR in the NFL.

The fastest I've read about were Elway and Favre. Both were over 70 mph. I would bet the average NFL QB would be in 55 to 65 mph range.

It's generally between 50-60mph. Watching some games, the announcers will explain how those passes equate to a mid to upper 90's fastball in baseball (i'm guessing in terms of the speed and how hard it is to catch?)

Brett Favre has clocked 75mph. He was throwing a 95mph fastball in high school. He could have probably been Roger Clemons if he wasn't Brett Favre.
