Why is it taking me so long to get my skill level up higher on Xbox live??

Question

i am plus in my kill/death ratio almost every game and sometimes i even rank down, so do u have any tips or suggestions on ranking up faster, or just ranking up at all??

If you want to raise your skill in Halo 3, my advice is this:

Be creative.

Unconventional kills, unusual medals, and sprees help raise your skill faster than anything else. In one particular Lone Wolves match, I was second to last, and still managed to rank up because of a Splatter Spree and a Shotgun Spree.

Yeah, like I said. Unlocking achievements, medals, and sprees will help.

To the guy who posted first: Yep, go with ps3, if you want a system that isnt stable, a company that has had to change their pricing schemes and system half a dozen times already, and crappy games. As well its losing in the systems race to both nintendo and microsoft. So yeah, get a ps3.

on certain games u might not go up cos u death count is to high such as rainbow 6 i hav 5000 deaths and only 2000 kills(btw that aint me playin my dad also plays it some time lool) and im like the lowest thing on the leaderboards so play player matches till u own every one !!!!
