to attack any country that sponsors terrorism or harbors terrorist, and then objects when another nation plans to do the same? our administration declared the PKK a terrorist organization years ago but when turkey wants to defend themselves from this group our administration objects. how do we justify that, how do we show our intentions are good and pure when we see the same intentions from others as wrong?

further, how can we obtain and develop nuclear weapons, yet not allow others to do so? We believe ourselves to be the 'good' while others are the terrorists. Yet it is us who place military bases around the world; it is us who dropped the atomic bombs, it is us who went to war with nothing but speculation......not to say that we are right or wrong....I am just wondering who gets to decide who the terrorists are?

VERY GOOD QUESTION.
The answer is: oil
The Kurds have a lot of oil up there and we don't want anyone else coming in and threatening to take over what we just took over and secured in contracts with the Kurds.

The US did not suspend the constitution in order to fight terrorism. Neither have we shut down all news broadcasts or rounded up all the protesters who disagree with the administration.

Don't you get it? The US can do whatever it wants when ever it wants. It's what nations do. It is always proper to act in your own best interests
