As someone who loves the music ABBA, I'm just wondering what other ABBA fans thought of their bizarre dance moves?
By dance moves, I mean the way Agnetha (the blonde) and Frida (the redhead) would sometimes stand back to back, turn their heads with hair flips, or stand in profile to each other...all the while singing with blank expressions on their faces?
Truthfully, I found it unintentionally hilarious!

Before people pass judgement on Abba's dancing, they have to look at the 70's (when Abba where in their hey day) in a whole manner. Think of the other acts around with their white suits & flares, big gold medallions pointing the ceiling whilst dancing to the Bee Gees LOL. By today's standards Abba's "moves" are quite tame. And a lot of acts today use choreographed moves (i.e back to back) but I guess it doesn't look as "gawky". Back in the 70's Abba's dancing wasn't thought of as "bizarre". People thought they were sexy. It's just like everything else, perceptions about things change over time. Look at tooboos for example. Un unwed mother in the 50's would be seen as the biggest scandle. Today it is perfectly acceptable :)

I loved ABBA! But, their dancing always seemed contrived and stilted.
